The sound of one hand clapping.

This phrase may raise some questions like whether there is a sound when only one hand claps.  Try it.  It is possible to only clap with one hand and it does make a sound.

We all tend to put ourselves in boxes.  We decide what and how we want to see or hear the things around us and block out everything else.   We look at life the way we want to see it. 

In life and especially in Public Relations we need to think outside of our little box.  We need to see things in different shades of light and consider all the factors.

It is not something which comes naturally and you do need to practise to be able to start looking at things differently.  You will see and hear things which you never saw or heard before.

 In Public Relations we learn to look at a situation in so many ways to be able to identify all the possible barriers and outcomes.
