Love..?

The Oxford Dictionary defines love as a strong feeling of affection.  

Over decades people have fall in and out of love and relationships have come and go.  There are billions of love songs, poems, books and definitions and still there is so much more to say about it.

This topic raises so many questions in my mind.  Below some questions which popped into my mind as well as my personal opinions.

·         Is love the same as caring about someone or is it only part of it? 

Love is caring for someone but so much more.   If you truly love someone you will do anything for that person.  You will put his/her needs before your own.

·         Can you fall in and out of love or can you only truly love once? 

I think that you can love more than one person in your lifetime but that you can only truly love ones.

·         Is there something as true love? 

Today it is harder to find, but I do still believe that there is something as true love.  I also though believe that you grow into this feeling and that it takes hard work, communication and trust.

·         Is there really a lid for every pot?

I do not feel that there is only one specific person for everyone.  It is all about compromising.  There are a lot of factors influencing whether a relationship can work or not.   

·         How do you know when you love someone?

You will just know.

I do not think that there is one definition which can explain what love is.  It is a feeling to which each person must have the freedom to attach their own connotations to.
